It was 51 years ago that I left North Plainfield. I loved it then and I still do. I have gone back to visit family a number of times since. I always go back to get my fix of these Wieners. Thanks to "China's Gift" to the world, I have not been able to be back since 2018. I will be back this year. I always get two to take out every day I am in North Plainfield.

One of very few venues in N.J. to offer Grote & Weigel franks. They spend 12-14 hours cooking their delicious chili. I highly recommend this stop!!

One of my favorite places to have a hotdog and fries. Burgers are excellent. Breakfast hits the spot too. And they now take credit cards. All in all a solid family owed business that I support whenever I’m in the area.
